Last week, 13 Tudor House students travelled to Perisher for the Australian Interschool Snowsports Championships.
With over 3,380 entries from 295 schools nationwide, our students proudly represented Tudor House achieving outstanding results.
These included a 4th in the Cross Country Classic by Year 5 students Jemima, Harriet and Maya, while a team of Year 3 student Levi, Year 2 student Charlie and Year 4 student James came 9th in their Cross Country Classic.
Year 4 students Willa, Zoe and Saskia made up a formidable team coming 5th in the Cross Country Classic and 9th in the Cross Country Relay. Year 2 student Elke and Year 1 student Aria also managed 12th overall Skier Cross.
Our Tudorians also had several strong individual results. Snowsports captain, Year 6 student Bernard, came 31st in the Cross Country Classic and Year 5 student Harry came 30th in the Cross Country Classic.
Competing as an individual in two races Year 4 student Willa came 25th in her Alpine race and 35th in Skier Cross.
One of the highlights from the competition was Year 3 student Levi fighting back from a tough start in his Cross Country Classic race, losing a pole and a ski, which placed him last to coming back through the pack to finish 25th.
Thank you to all the parents and staff who helped make it another successful Snowsports season.
