As a Christian community, we are committed to making a positive difference in the world around us. This year, we are proud to begin a partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney, supporting families with seriously ill children.
Through this partnership, our Service Learning Club will make regular visits to the Westmead facility, where students will prepare meals for families, provide academic tutoring, and run activities for the children. These experiences will not only support the vital work of the charity but also give our boys the opportunity to grow in character, compassion and service.
To launch this collaboration, we invite you to join us for the inaugural King’s High Tea on Sunday 21 September, a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together in support of families with seriously ill children.
Guests will enjoy a traditional high tea in the elegant surrounds of Oatlands House, while hearing from Nermeen Yacoub, Head of Fundraising and Partnerships at Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney. Her reflections will share the impact of this collaboration and the importance of community in action.
We warmly welcome community donations for our event raffle, with all proceeds supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Please enjoy this short 4-minute video to see how your support empowers this meaningful partnership within our local community.
